Max The Otterhound
The Otterhound is an old British dog breed, with Bloodhound ancestors, and one of the ancestors of the Airedale Terrier.
When The Wilson family bought The Plough Inn Pub in the rural village of Stathern, they had no idea that business would be quite so good - and its all thanks to their Otterhound Max who has become the local celebrity.
With only 50 registered Otterhound pups in the UK in 2005, Max is a rare sight indeed! ''Locals have never seen an Otterhound before, and here we have Max to give people a special welcome''. People in the vale love animals and flock to see Max, they even bring their friends to meet him.
